Now more than ever, it helps to embrace the impermanence of things. Kintsugi is the art of repairing broken pottery with gold lacquer. This visible restoration highlights the beauty of regeneration that arises from decay. This notebook was created in response to this philosophy of revival. The interior is constructed of bagasse paper, recycled from the residue of sugarcane extraction. The cover paper has a soft, subtle, almost leather-like texture, with metallic gold screen-printing. Measures 7" x7" with 160 dotted pages. Made in Japan.
